Transportation Information:      Our air transportation is provided by Lufthansa and /or United Airlines.  While in Switzerland (and Italy and France) we will travel by train and public transportation.  The air fare quoted is from Des Moines, but is applicable from most Midwest cities.  We can, also, quote a price from any city served by either airline.  This price is based on W class of service of which there are a limited number of seats.  You need to sign up early to take advantage of the lower priced W class seats.

 Trip includes:  Round trip air from Des Moines (or your home city) to Zurich, Switzerland; eight days of train travel; hotel rooms (double occupancy); break fast and dinner each day; general guidance and a lot of scenery.

Trip does not include:   Lunch each day, items of a personal nature, non listed train travel or trips, departure fees, fuel charges or taxes not included in the airline price (these will be billed later).

Disclaimer:   We cannot be responsible for delays in service of airlines or trains, acts of God, strikes, weather or any thing beyond our control and may not be held responsible should any occur.  Please note that trip insurance is available to cover most of these potentials.

Please note that all prices are double occupancy and do not include departure fees, fuel surcharge or taxes that will be billed later when determined.  Single occupancy rooms are available for an additional $200.  We will endeavor to put singles in touch with each other to make it possible to decide to share a room.

 RESERVATION INFORMATION:

If you would like to join us for this tour please complete and return the reservation form (click on Sign-Up link).  All reservations must be accompanied by a $500 cash deposit or credit card.   Our cancellation fees are as follows:   All money is refundable up to 90 days prior to departure.  Within 90 days and not less than 30 days before departure only those sums recoverable from various providers will be refunded except the $100 cancellation fee.  No refunds for any reason within 30 days of departure.  Travel insurance may be purchased.
